Coast Dance Explosion holds an annual
nation-wide dance competition for people
of all ages. Pictured to the right is
a truly monumental brochure, heralding
the start of WCDE's 2003 season. In this
piece, a dark, exciting atmosphere is
prominent, as well as clean, conservative
typography. There are a wealth of images
of the previous year's festivities, as
well as professionally-shot photos of
the staff adding to the brochure's lush
feel, while silvery color bars hint at
colorful stage lighting. This piece was
printed in 4 colors, with a silver underprinting
and a spot varnish, along with a detachable
perforated card.
